Frog Fun presents an engaging gaming experience for mobile devices, drawing inspiration from the classic board game, King’s Court. It effectively combines elements of chess and checkers, offering a simple learning curve akin to checkers while demanding the strategic depth typical of chess for mastery.

The gameplay revolves around two teams of 24 frogs competing on a grid of 64 lily pads. Central to the board is "Turtle Island," a 4 x 4 grid formed by 16 lily pads. This island is encircled by an additional 48 lily pads, creating an extensive 8 x 8 grid. The objective is to capture Turtle Island by jumping over the opposing team's frogs; a fascinating twist is that victory does not necessitate eliminating all opponent pieces on the board.

Players can execute frog jumps either horizontally or vertically, reflecting a tactical decision that can remove an opponent’s frogs or reposition one’s own for strategic advantage. This dynamic is initiated by selecting a frog and an adjacent lily pad to occupy Turtle Island, with a brief restriction on jumping during the initial two moves.

The app offers four distinct playing modes:

• User Against Computer – Ideal for beginners to learn the game mechanics through practice against an AI opponent.
• Two Users on Same Device – Known as “Social Mode,” this option allows two players to compete on the same device.
• Two Users on Different Devices – In this iteration of “Social Mode,” players can challenge friends using their usernames or opt for a "Play with Random Player" feature. Invited players receive notifications to accept or decline challenges if logged into Frog Fun.
• Tournament Play – Available exclusively for iOS devices, this mode enables players to engage in skill-based competitions for Skillz's Z money or real money, which is set to be introduced soon.

Additionally, players can track their performance and standings via the Leader Board, providing an opportunity to compare results with others in Social Mode or the broader Frog Fun player community.
